Shop Layout

Shop layout function will be used in the food and beverage industry. This layout function includes setup and designing the table layout. You can customize the layout by drag and drop the table according to the restaurant physical layout. Shop layout function helps your employees to take order faster as it uses table number to retrieve the order record and receipt.

Design Layout

1. Login to your POS Client account.

2. Click on the System and select Shop Layout Design to navigate to Layout Section.

3. Click counter icon to start design layout. Drag and drop the furniture. Name it and click Set button to set the name.

4. Repeat step 3 to create another furniture in your shop.

5. If you created your furniture wrongly, select the furniture you want to remove and click Delete button.

6. Click Delete All to remove the shop layout that you designed.

7. A message box that ask for your permission to delete the shop layout will be prompted. Click Yes.

8. After you reset your table design, your screen will display an empty layout.

9. Click Save button after you have done your shop design.

Setting for Compulsory Table Number Entry when Making Order

1. Login to POS Client Setting.

2. Click Receipts and select Receipt List on the navigation menu.

3. To do receipt setting, click Setting button in Receipt window.

4. Under Receipt section - Receipt Header, tick Table No to select Table No as additional Receipt Header .

5. Under Receipt section - Receipt Details, click Configure pos compulsory field button.

6. In POS Compulsory Field window, tick Table No and click Done button.

Use Table to Retrieve Table Receipt

1. Login to your POS Client account.

2. Select the table number before inserting customer order. You have two ways to select the table number.

  • Click Layout button and click the table.
  • Select from drop-down list under Tbl/Order.

3. After selecting, the table number will appear under Tbl/Order. Then, insert customer order.

4. Create order or choose payment method to make payment .

5. Below is an example of a complete table receipt transaction.

Layout Theme

There are layout themes to choose for your business.

1. Go to POS Client Setting.

2. Login to POS Client Setting account.

3. Go to 'Outlet Layout' section and select a layout theme.

4. Click Save button to save setting.

5. A BMO message box will pop out and show that initial sync will begin. Click 'OK' to dismiss the message.

6. Another message box will pop out and show that new setting has been downloaded. Click 'OK' to dismiss the message and restart the bmo application.

7. Below is the example layout theme setting for restaurant. Preferred name for restaurant is 'Tbl/Order'. It will be showed in the POS Terminal when customer makes order.

9. Below is the example layout theme setting for hair salon. Preferred name for salon is 'Seat'. It will be showed in the POS Terminal when customer makes transaction.
