Multiple Printing Format

BMO Point of Sales System is capable of supporting various thermal receipt printers. Thus, BMO POS System could accommodate multiple receipt formats such as:

  • 80mm Receipt
  • 58mm Receipt
  • A4 Receipt

You can also set to hide certain columns (A4 receipt) / rows (80mm and 58mm) from displaying in the receipt and include barcode as well.


How to Print 80mm Receipt

1. Login to POS Client account.

2. Go to "Receipt List".

3. After select a receipt, user can choose either choose preview with '80mm' or 'A4', Here we choose '80mm'.

4. Next, you will see your receipt in preview mode.

5. Finally, click on the print button which displayed on left menu bar to print out your receipt in 80mm size.


Sample 80mm Receipt

It has the paper width of 3.13" or 80mm. 80mm thermal papers are mostly used for retail shops, restaurants, cafes and so on. It provides more space to display item descriptions and other information.

How to Print 58mm Receipt

The 80mm receipt layout is also applicable for 58mm receipt printing. Similar steps from #How to Print 80mm Receipt is used but you would need to connect your 58mm thermal receipt printer instead. Refer to Thermal Printer Installation for further information.


Sample 58mm Receipt

58mm thermal receipt paper has the paper width of 2.28" or 58mm. It is mostly used in credit card processing, kiosk, parking lots, and so on.

How to Print A4 Receipt

1. Login to POS Client account.

2. Go to "Receipt List".

3. After select a receipt, user can choose either choose preview with '80mm' or 'A4', Here we choose 'A4'.

4. Next, you will see your receipt in preview mode.

5. Finally, click on the print button which displayed on left menu bar to print out your receipt in A4 size.

A4 receipt has the paper size of 210 x 297mm.

How to Hide Columns in the Receipt

Sometimes you might want to refrain from displaying a lot of information on the receipt so the customers can have a clearer view of they payment details. In BMO Point of Sales System, you are allowed to make configurations to hide certain columns (A4 receipt) or rows (for 80mm and 58mm receipt).

Below is how you can configure your POS Client to hide columns/rows in the receipt.


1. First, login to the POS Terminal Setting.

2. At "Receipt", uncheck the checkboxes under Receipt Header / Receipt Detail / Receipt Footer / Receipt Contact columns that you want to hide in the receipt. You can try to follow the example shown in the screenshot below for testing purposes.

When you are done, click on the "Save" button to apply the new changes to the POS Terminal system and click 'OK' for both message.

3. After that, restart your POS Terminal and login.

4. Go to "Receipt List".

5. After select a receipt, user can choose either choose preview with '80mm' or 'A4', Here we choose '80mm'.

6. A "Print Preview" will be prompted. So, the options that you did not select in the POS Terminal setting will not be displayed in your receipt. In this case, the table number and email are not displayed.

How to Print Receipt with Barcode

1. In order to print the receipt with barcode, first you need to login to POS Client Setting.

2. Then, go to "Receipt" tab and select the "Mfg Code" checkbox. Click "Save" to apply and click "OK" for both messages.

3. You will be returned to the main POS Client window and key in your login details to login to your POS Client account.

4. Go to "Receipt List".

5. After select a receipt, user can choose either choose preview with '80mm' or 'A4', Here we choose '80mm'.

6. Click "Print" button to print out the receipt.

7. You can now scan the receipt using a barcode scanner to find your receipt in your Offline POS Terminal.

How to Print Categorised Item in Receipt

1. In order to print the receipt with categorised item, first you need to login to POS Client Setting.

2. Then, go to "Receipt" tab and tick the "Categorize Item" checkbox in "Receipt Detail". Click "Save" to apply and click "OK" for both messages.

3. You will be returned to the main POS Client window and key in your login details to login to your POS Client account.
